Another newbie question. On many 2 cylinder bikes one can balance carbs using vacuum ports on cabs or injectors.

I looked a the docs and cannot find any on my Le Mans IV. Am I missing anything?

If not how does one balance carbs?

Ports are not on the carbs, but on the intake manifold. Remove the screws on the outer side (side of the flange) and insert adapters to connect the sync device. see item 4 in this illustration from the parts manual

You by them with the syncing device. Should be listed on the same web site. If you have a newer Tonti, such as an EV, there are vacuum lines connected to the intake manifolds. Simply unhook the vacuum lines and connect your device.

It's been awhile since I hooked up an old LM IV but be aware that the adapters come in either 6mm or 5mm. I think the LM IV is like most other Moto Guzzi and uses the 6mm, but you would be wise to simply check the screw diameter before you order the adapters that way you get the correct ones. They also come short and long. I have both lengths in both sizes so I never think about this anymore.
