Bought a S/Hand 32ltr Tank a while back, with the intention of fitting it to my '09 at some point.
Decided against it now, most of the other parts required are silly money, and/or 'unobtanium' used, plus you need to chop three brackets off the Frame, which I could do, but don't really want to.

So I've decided that at some future point I'll make an Auxiliary Tank for it, and with that in mind, I've 'prepped' the Tank with a couple of Pipe Fittings . . .
FuelFittings

AN-6 Pipe Fittings in tapped holes, Dowty Seals, and threaded Washers Epoxied onto the ends inside Tank.
Not sure exactly what form the rest of it will take, with regards 'plumbing' it all in, still thinking it over, will take a while to come up with a decent solution . . .

Yes, but now long discontinued I believe.
Was quite expensive at the tie, and had ore than it's share of issues fro what I've heard/read.

Anyway, as you should have realised by now, I love making stuff . . . ;)

Bugger!
Slight set-back . . .
Undoing the Pump-Plate Nuts, and two of them decide to seize-up enough to shear the Inserts grip in the Plastic.

So, I've cut them all off flush with the Tank Surface, and made up an Alloy Plate to Bond/Bolt to the Tank, replacement Bolts will be mounted in that.
It'll also give a more reliable sealing surface for the two Pipe Unions.

I've done the 'Stack-Pipes' for the Mod now, they go straight up from the Unions to approx 45mm from the Tank top.

Will tidy it all up tomorrow.
Got a s/hand Tank heading my way now.
I'll fit that for now, then I can do the Aux-Tank later-on.
Means I can swap over when needed too.

Good luck!!! I've had the Stucchi last gen Aux Tank for a number of years. Once we got everything worked out with the original installation (wrong parts and pieces from Stucchi with 6-8 week lead times for the correct stuff) it has been working without issue (knock on wood) for over 4 years!
