Tuned and Synch'ed
A few months ago I fitted a CYCLONE V2 MOTORBIKE MOTORCYCLE ALARM & IMMOBILISER that I bought off ebay.
It appeared to be a decent, cheap alarm that was easy to fit however my bike - a 1996 1100i California, developed a problem where it would misfire at 4000 revs.
After trying to fix this myself (not knowing that it was the alarm causing the problem) I sent the bike into the dealers where about £200 worth of labour charges later it was found that the alarm was the problem, remove the immobiliser wires and refit the fuse and the fault was gone!
I have been in touch with the supplier N Cooke Security and explained the problem to see if I could get any compensation (worth a try I suppose) but he doesn't want to know.
I would suggest if you want to fit an alarm you don't buy one of this model or if you have a misfire at 4000 revs and you have one of these fitted take off the immobiliser wires.
