On my Breva 1100 2005 KP012522 I have a big end diameter of 1.7331 inch measured with a micrometer.
Slightly over specification. So I have a Red production from B below. There is a red paint marker on the conrods also.
The half shells have the part number 01.06.2030.
In the parts manual I have the following.
So it looks like I have the shells 3rd line down. I see the later engines have the BS and RS for blue and red.
1. So my question is. Is the workshop manual at the top for later engines with red and blue.
2. Do the earlier engines just have the one crank pin diameter range as there is no red and blue till after KP15261?
What is even more confusing is that Gutsibits supplied shell bearings to me with the code 2030 stamped on them and they were thicker and would not fit.
The big end bolts ordered in from Italy were too wide with a diameter of 10.28mm. My old ones were 10.16mm and so the new bolts will not fit the big end half. These bolts cost £32 each!!! I am sending them back for a refund.
Edit. Corrected the incorrect part numbers I had written. I suffer from dyslexia and discalcula and get my right and left mixed up. Not a good combination.
