Black eagle oil leak

Black Eagle with a little over a hundred miles I see a leak at the front of the motor. There is a rubber hose crimped to a fitting that looks like it screws onto/into the cover at the front of the motor. It is just about what I would call the alternator, sitting on the bike the fitting is screwed in on the right hand side at the top. Its in an awkward spot to get a wrench to. THe best I can tell the oil is not coming from between hose and the fitting, it seems to be between the fitting and the cover it screws into. It seems obvious to just try and tighten the joint, but I dont want to overdo it if that is possible especially if there is an O ring or something under it that could be the culprit, if someone has any insight of what I should do, I would appreciate it. Quite honestly just getting a wrench on it/ to it seems impossible. The frame downtube seems to be situated just right to block the turn of a wrench. A socket would work if the fitting werent connected to the hose, which since it doesnt seem to be leaking I hate to try and take that loose?

Picture would be of great help, Your alternator is not atop of the motor but on the bottom under the plastic front cover.

I haven't seen a black eagle yet, but I'm guessing it is much like the vintage in that area. Thre is a sealing washer under the hose fitting. Remove the hose, fitting, then inspect the washer. If damaged replace, if it seems OK, try a sparing amount of sealant (I'd use a thin film of clear RTV on the washer) and re-install.
