I posted in September about a potential purchase of a 2013. It was sold that fell through so about ready to pull the trigger. It's out of state so sight unseen except pics and a couple of little videos. It appears to be fine.
I got the VIN and inquired about recalls and service. It had the suspension link replaced on recall and a timing sensor replaced on warranty. Is that sensor a common fault? That's really my only question and not sure what what an answer would tell me but just want all the info I can get my hands on. Thanks in advance for any input on this or anything else one may say.

I will say I had the hots for a Multistrada but that has passed.

Well I own a Guzzi for the first time since 1978.

578 miles. It was bought at auction they say. 9 days left on the warranty but since the season is about over even a few months would not make much difference.

Where is the national rally next year. I'm retiring and am going to be living on this thing a lot.

My current wheels. Stupid fast and very fun. I've put 90K miles on two of them. I'll miss the power. $3K if anyone is interested.

Not that I am aware of. One did fail
on my quota but that was because I fried the wires on a header pipe.

Welcome.

Nice looking machine.

Where is your home?

You mentioned your new-to-you Stelvio was an auction buy. I note that the CT says Miami, but there is what appears to be a Virginia state safety-inspection decal on the skid plate.

Best wishes for miles of smiles on that Guzzi.

One can never be sure of the backstory of a bike unless it comes from a dealer who took it in trade. A dealer you know and trust. When I buy vehicles, especially from dealers, I often never ask for a backstory because it's just that, a story. I rely on my eyes. This is a bit tricky since it is sight unseen but they did send 3 short videos and it seems perfect. I'll find out but knowing Michigan weather it may not be until March, or April, or June. Or maybe the warm weather will hold here for a couple more weeks.

Muskegon area. I have family that lives there, and Whitehall, and Shelby. I trailered the Cali up there this summer and rode M22 with my cousins. You are fortunate to live in such a nice motorcycling area.
