Brake levers for V7III ??

I've gotten so used to the two-finger brake levers on my bicycle that I've occasionally trapped my other fingers under the V7III Racer's brake lever. I've trained myself not to do that, but even with the stock brakes on Racer, I can bring the brakes to the point of the ABS system kicking in even with just two fingers.

So ... Are there any good quality two-finger brake levers available for the OEM V7III master cylinder? I had the CRG RC2 levers for the Ducati Scrambler and thought they were pretty nice, but I don't see a listing for the Moto Guzzi V7III on their website.

(An equivalent question is: What is the model of the standard Brembo master cylinder for the V7III? And does any other manufacturer use this model master cylinder on one of their motorcycle models? ... :))

tanx!

Ah, thanks! I see the Pozzo listing specifies the same brake lever for the Aprilia Caponord and several Yamahas too. There are a ton of suppliers that list both the Aprilia and Yamaha bikes in their compatible lever selection. :)

And I can vouch for the Pazzo levers. I bought cheap eBay levers when I first bought the bike and the figment was off even though they were stamped as the right size. So then I sucked it up and dropped money on the Pazzos and am very happy with them. AF1 racing has them for a great price

Thanks! I'd not heard of Pozzo levers before, and I agree the Ebay cheap stuff is indeed just that: cheap cr@p. The only aftermarket levers I've had in the past are CRG RC2, which are beautiful but pricey, and I'm not sure they make any that crossover for the Moto Guzzi V7III ... I have an email to support there to find out.

But if they don't, I'll go with a Pozzo, now that I hear they're good from someone on this forum. :)

I would think that some of Aprilia levers from CRG would cross over but definitely get the answers from those who know haha

Well, none of the Aprilias on their applications list match any of the Pozzo listings. A couple of the Yamahas might, but they list them so differently I'm not sure. Waiting on a reply from CRG support tomorrow.

It looks like the brake lever design is shared by the Yamaha FZ09 and FZ07. He can't guarantee it 100%, but I might order one to see whether it works, and how well it suits me.
