  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. I can't seem to stop riding it....what is it about these bikes that want you to take the long way home.

I was given my 1200Sport Friday lunchtime to test ride for the weekend (I was thinking of buying a Ducati) with the request not to put too many km's on it. I took it back Saturday lunchtime with over 200km added to it, just couldn't stop riding.

My 15 min trip home on Friday night took 2 hours and that's only because it was getting dark. And wasn't I in trouble when I got home as I called when I left work saying I'd probably only be 30 min

(Fortunately I did call from the supermarket where I'd stoped to buy some spray cleaner to get the bugs off her. I already considered her mine.)

Geordie

hth - Agree with you 100% the screens useless I may even take it off.

Jock

I had real problems with vibration of the screen at around 3k - 3.5k rpm - this was from the engine only not windblast as it also occurred at standstill with the screen in the most "upright" position.
Just before I had my last run around Scotland last month, I changed the position to the most "raked" position in the vain hope that it may have some effect - it has, from that moment on, it has been superb :) and no longer vibrates at any time.

Worth a try anyway.

Regards

Simon
