The half handlebar part numbers are different between the BREVA 2005 - 7 and the NORGE 1200.
BREVA Left Hand 1/2 Bar = 05600730
NORGE Left Hand 1/2 Bar = 977784
The right hand 1/2 bars are similarly different.
Does anyone know what the difference is, maybe height?, maybe reach? it would be nice to know as it may mean the difference in comfort for some people, maybe even me.

Cheers
Brian

Which Norge were you checking? The new 8 valve GT does have different bars to the original Norge and Breva ones. They are a little closer to the rider I think, more like the Helibars.

Thanks Andiamo and Brian UK.
It looks as though actual measurements are needed to actually see the difference. The Helibars come out at about the same price as originals from Harpers.
Thanks for the replies. I haven't decided what to do or if it is worthwhile yet.

Cheers
Brian

On the Norge 2006 parts list I have the LH handlebar is 05600730 same as the Breva. The 8 valve version is 898129, yet on another Norge parts list dated 2008 the LH bar is 977784. Any sense in this?

Just a word of warning, the Helibars make it impossible to lift the black inner part of the fairing as they are wider at the base. The bars have to be removed to get at the dash, or change a light bulb.

Also I'm not sure that the new 8 valve bars will fit the earlier bike.
