I went to start my Breva 1100, saw the service light was on, reset the service code and nothing. Service light is still on and my bike just makes a click, then a hum, then nothing. It rode well the last time I rode it and there appears to be no issue with the battery......any advice?

Thanks,
Mark.

Check the battery connections, primarily the positive cable. The will get corrosion between the battery and cable you can't even see. I eventually tinned the connection area on the cable end with solder to end the problem on mine.

OK, after saying I didn't think it was the battery, I checked again and it was drawing 11.4, so I put it on my battery tender and guess what, it started after it got over 12v. BUT, the service triangle and service reminder is still there! Any ideas how to eliminate it, I have already input the service code and reset the service mode, but it won't go away.

What are the error codes?

I would be guessing you will see a 07 fault which says that your oil pressure switch is not making contact upon switch on. I guess I'm a little prejudious, having replaced them so often on my Breva 1100. It's a prick to get at, but offer a short to ground on the sensor terminal before switching the ignition on, and if the triangle goes away, this is your problem. See my other posts on how to swap this item out.

Good on you. one of the rare people who know what "tinned" is these days. I rarely hear the term.
