Tuned and Synch'ed
Out & about today with the Griso and a mate on his SpeedTrip.
Started out at Pottsville, headed out of the village along the Coast Rd through Wooyung, Mooball, Burringbar, over the ranges to Murwillumbah.
Motored through Murwillumbah out through Chillingham & on to Tyalgum where we stopped for a lovely coffee /brunch & watched the world go by, solved all the world's problems and saddled up again to head back via Eungella, where my mate was almost taken out by some #@%$$!&^ who swerved at him, taking up most of our road space. Fortunately there was enough room for him to squeeze past. We pulled over and I asked if he was OK. He flipped up his visor to reveal big eyes and much growling, we debated the merits of turning around & seeking justice, decided against that and he accelerated off into the twisties to blow off some steam. I caught him up not long after and we made our way sedately into Murwillumbah, back out of there over the ranges back through Burringbar, Mooball, Wooyung and home to Pottsville just as the fuel light came on.
A fantastic day with a good mate almost ruined by some unthinking fool with a vendetta.
The roads are a combination of twisties, sweepers and straightaways taking us through forests, fields, villages, towns as we head from the beach into the Tweed valley over ranges, hills and flats.
A great way to get to know one's machine.
