Cal-Vin 50 state bike?

Does anyone know definitively whether the Cal-Vin is a 50 state bike? I just closed a deal on a 2008 with 2500 miles on the clock. It's in Tennessee and on its way to California, where the law is if a vehicle has under 7500 miles on it, it MUST be a 50 state vehicle with appropriate stickers stating so before it can be registered. Of course, if "worse comes to worse" I guess I'll have to put 5 thousand miles on it asap! ;)
I have the VIN and have e-mailed MGNA to see if they can help, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Thanks.

Joe, yes it is. Most important is if the CA emissions sticker is still on it somewhere (hopefully). If not, you'll need it. If need be, I have a loaner speedo as needed. ;)

Thanks, Todd. I was just told by a friend at the DMV that it will need to have 7500 miles on it whether it has a sticker or not. I downloaded the certificate from CARB which lists the bike as a 50 state vehicle, as well. I may just take you up on your loaner offer. ;)
Before I saw this post, I was going to ask a hypothetical question, though. IF someone were to want to run UP an ODO, can that be done using the old drill to the cable trick since it's a basic analog speedo?

Well I've taken several low mileage vehicles to the DMV from out of State, and the only thing needed (it seemed) was that California emissions sticker on it. I too printed the CARB cert, but the inspector didn't seem to care. Both had under 1000 miles on them.
Yes, the speedo can be spun forward.

Cool beans, Todd! Thanks,
Re: DMV, my contact told me not to chance trying to reg it without the 7500 as they will flag the VIN and I'll never be able to reg it in Ca. It's a toss up if you get a stickler at the DMV who goes by the book, but I don't want to chance it. I once bought a bike in Florida and took it in for reg to CA. DMV. A young lady was literally crawling around trying to look under it for whatever the hell she needed to see, but wouldn't tell me what it was she was looking for. A guy came out and told her to "just pass the darn thing", which she did.

My apologies for reviving an old thread, but this is the most pointed post that hits exactly the problem I face with a 2018 Eldorado. Neither I nor the DMV could find the emissions sticker. any ideas where it might be on the California/Eldorado?

The Eldo 1400 is 100% 50-State legal too. You should be able to reach out to Piaggio USA in NYC to get the info you need to present to the DMV.

Thnx for the quick reply - I tried asking the closest Guzzi dealership, but they were very confused. I just need to find the right person I guess.
