I've just removed my front forks for re-chroming, the headstock/triple trees were so tight that even after removing the clamp bolts completely I had to drive a small chisel into the cutaway next to the clamps and also carefully drift out the stanchions - is this normal?
On other bikes I've had I've only had to slacken the clamp bolts and the forks fall out, is there a trick with Cali's that I don't know about?
