Greetings, yesterday I picked up a 2014 (2015?) California Custom and I'm just trying to educate myself on this model as well as what changes were made between years of California 1400 production? I have a V85TT and have become familiar with it but know next to nothing about the 1400 series. Any links on the design and history of this model would be appreciated. Obviously I've been lurking through many posts here which has been very useful.

Hi Clifton,
Welcome, I'm sure Todd and others will be along shortly with answers, cheers,

Hi Clifton, congrats on the 1400. Hope you'll add your info to our Registry; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/cal1400-registry-pics-thread-add-your-bike.11538/
Are you asking specifically about the Custom or all models of 1400? If just the Custom, no changes between 14/15. Not until the Audace and/or late production Eldorado did they make slight changes like ride-by-wire, fork manufacturer and a few other smaller things outside of visible differences. Same with the Touring model.

I have Dave but figured suggestions from those here very familiar with these bikes to be more useful, but thanks.

Greetings Todd and I will add to the registry. I'm interested in all the 1400's, the development as well as different versions. Sifting through "google" I have pieced together some in bits and pieces.
