When I bought my 07 Breva 1100 new I believe the Carc recall had be already been done but a dust seal/protector was missing from the rear drive as shown in the following pic

I purchased part number 977056 from Moto Kiwi

And installed it between the wheel and the Drive. Its a very tight fit and no stones will damage the oil seal. A few other bikes I have looked at dont have it fitted, Do any of you have one installed?
Cheers Kevin

I had one on my '06 G11 and there's one on my G8v.

The dust cover is on the parts manual page for the rear wheel not the CARC. As Kevin says in his post it's a very tight fit and in my experience usually stays stuck on the wheel when you take the wheel off. I only "discovered" mine when I was changing the tyre for the 3rd or 4th time and it fell off. If you think you haven't got one, check your wheel next time its off.

Errr  I fitted mine the wrong way round  when the oil seal started to leak I found corrosion on the face of the hub which buggered the seal, Luckily it was cleanable but silly mistake
