It has discussed a lot on this forum about faulty charging regulators and the new alternator reduced power.
350W 1-fase down to 270W on the new 3-phase. Will 270W allow me in the future to add more electrical equipment or not?
My idea is to replace the traction control lamp with a 10mm “Spark Bright Eclipse”. It will give me full control over the charging status.
The panel hole sizes are both 16mm and the Spark Bright bezel size are made for 14mm . So with a little help from some hot glue it will fit like a glove and it looks good to. The number of lamps today are 8 and I don't whant to drill for more bling in the dash.
My only concern are, do I need to see the Traction Control lamp except when im dooing the calibration?
My plan are to have the traction control lamp connected, but hanging free behind the headlamp. Easy to fish up when I unlikely need to do new calibration.
