Hi folks,my first posting on here, not sure if this is the right section but if you racers don't know of this fix then i'll be surprised.
What i have is a 950 G5 with twin plugged heads,RaceCo cam ,36mm carbs, lightened flywheel and Saches ignition.
The bike runs great ,i'm very pleased with it,but what happens is the clutch lever loses most of its action,ie -the lever has a lot of play when the engine is hot.
Iv'e seen somewhere that the intermediate plate is most probably to blame as it can go convex/concave and the fix is to cut slots in a new replacement plate to cure this.
Anyone got any thoughts on this fix ,or any other ideas of what the problem could be,but i'm pretty sure the above scenario is the problem.
Thanks Chill
