Completed Restoration 1973 V7 Sport

What a beautiful bike. I was sat the lights with my brand new MZ TS250, when one of these pulled up alongside me and I felt so humbled by such a beautiful bike, when the rider looked at me and said "nice bike". That man put me on a course of a love for Mot Guzzis that has lasted until today.
What a great restoration of a classic bike. Bravo to you. Any videos of it running?

Thanks so much! Starting it is the next step. I’ll post some video in a week or two when I get it running… fingers crossed.

Very nice job, pleased to,see the majority of the bike is left “au natural” ,I always felt bikes earn their patina and
Usually, not always , they are better done sympathetically.
Enjoy the miles

I just noticed you are running single fuel lines. Common mod to eliminate the X cross over is to use double banjo fittings and run side to side so only one petcock needs to be open, but you can open both if your petcocks have a reserve position.

Also makes the plumbing easier. Gets that darn "X" out from under the tank.

Thought I'd share a few pics of my recently completed restoration. VIN: VK 033633
