Hello all,

Put a basket case 1980 CX100 back together, the project is coming along nicely.
I just put fresh fluids and attempted to turn over the bike and it dose turn over but it only has spark on one side?
I checked the wire diagram to ensure it’s wired properly and it seems to be. The bike has a Dana system on it as well. I also swapped the red and green wires to the coils and I did get spark on the other side, so I’m guessing it’s not the coils. FYI- the bike was retrieved from a basement where it had sat for 15 years, the rectifier looks to be in bad shape other than that everything has worked so far and has cleaned up nicely.

Any ideas as to what I should be checking, I haven’t a clue?
Thanks
Steve

looks like it’s the Danatech system, I Googled it and got the troubleshooting guide and under Guzzi was my problem, they have you switch 2 wires and if the spark moves to the other side it’s the sensor if it stays the same its the module, mine stayed the same so it’s a new ignition system.
Hope this dose it,
BIG let down, I was hoping to hear the thing run today......

I was writing a response when you wrote this that it would be the Dyna. However, the connectors between the hall sensors and the control module are prone to failure. Check these connectors before you give up on the system and replace it.
