If anyone makes it to Daytona Bike Week, I will be signing copies of my new book Wrenched (www.wrenchedbook.com) at Daytona during lunch break on Tues/Wed March 2/3. This will be near AHRMA racer registration. I'll also be signing copies at Pantheon Pizza during the Italian Bike night on Monday March 2 after the day's races.

Stop by the pits and say hi if you're around.

Ed Milich

Just finished reading my personally signed copy of Ed's book, Wrenched. I loved every single page, every single poem, even when he was picking on me, as he did in one poem. A few excerpts to entice you to consider buying. Sorry Ed for taking them out of their context, but I think the end justifies the means.

From "Guzzi"
Strength
Determination
Composure
What else could you ask for
from a good friend?

From "SV650"
...to the checkered flag
It is not quite the same
when you are on
a goddamned boring appliance
such as an
SV650 Suzuki

From "Biker"
You might think me a boor
to speak these things so conceitedly
but then, I am a Biker
so I don't afford myself
the indulgence
of giving a shit
what you
or any others
think.

(Wish I could have said the latter 1/10 as well as Ed put it.)

For the SoCal locals, poems entitled "Officer Stout", "Mark" (meaning Etheridge), & "Saturday Morning", about people who frequent MG Classics on Sat morning, including "...Richard the canyon carving Mexican who proudly passes modern sport bikes on curvy roads with his Guzzi cruiser and always wears a cheerful smile", yours truly who adorns his 1000S with "geezer accessories", & others.

Sections about "The Bikes" (inc many Guzzis & Ducatis), "The Men," "The Race", and wrenching.

Don't buy it cause you know Ed, or want to support his racing efforts or his efforts in Guzzitech. Buy it cause you'll enjoy it, & it's worth it.

Sorry, Ed....Bob said not to buy it. I only figured you needed the money for racing.

I don't read poetry...it's crap
Just another establishment trap
To keep spinning the wheels of our minds
While we adoringly kiss their behinds
I'm just not that big of a sap......

Roses are red,
daisies are yellow.
Shut the fuck up Tim
and try to be mellow:laugh:

;)

There was a Guzzisti from Nantucket,
who's brakes were so bad he would pump it.
He said one day while while picking his nose,
I really should rebuild my Brembo's.
The little dog laughed to see such a site
and the cow jumped over the moon.

...did you read it Tim?

Nope....

When I saw it the name of Nantucket
I feared it must end in "F^%$%^^k it"
Such an ignominious breach
in a gentlemans speech
puts one in a bad social bucket.......
