My throttle slide return springs seem very heavy duty as it takes quite abit of pull to actuate them. I am gauging this while pulling up on the cable directly at the carb top NOT the throttle handle, so cables, throttle pipe, ect, are out of the equation. This is compared to my Norton, BMW, Laverda and Honda that I own.
Can I clip the springs down abit to releive some tension, or do these square bore VHBs have a nasty habit of sticking and not responding well when decelerating? Maybe the previous owner(s) lost the origionals and put non-std ones in:blink:
