Do Stelvio Hand guards fit the Sport 1200?

Winter is nearly upon us here in England. I noticed on the MG website that you can buy Stelvio hand guards for about £50 which does not seem outrageously expensive. Anybody know if they fit straight on the sport 1200? I also have heated grips, but I don't think that would make too much difference. I could not see this topic in the list, but sorry if I missed it and somebody has already answered it.

They fit the Breva 1100 with adding 2 or 3 washers between the bar-end and the handgrip and maybe you need some washers at the bottom of the mirrors. But the size of the hand guards is a perfect fit. The 1200 Sport has the same size, but for the Norge the fairing will be a problem.

Ciao Dolf. :)

I'm in UK. I just fitted the Stelvio Handguards to my Breva the day before you posted. Straight on no problem - as per Brevabrabos post i fitted a couple (of homemade nylon) washers to the throttle side to allow sprung throttle return.

I got mine from aprilia-spares.com in Dorset who deserve a shout out. Ordered Thurs, boxed set containing individual bubble wrapped parts delivered on Friday. Opened my goodies straight away with excitement to find one Bar-end missing. Phoned them up and they opened the remaining 2 boxed sets to find that both of them had been shipped from Italy with one bar-end short. They sent me the bar-end from one of the other sets and it arrived Sat - about 40 hours in total from the original online order.

Only downside is they can't supply anybody else with handguards until our Italian cousins supply the missing Bar-ends ...

Thanks for the replies, I should get round to having a go at it in the next week or two. :)
