I've grown up on jap bikes, and doing wheelies on them. My 02 Lemans was a wheelie monster, with of course a roper sloppage plate and plenty of oil. My 07 Griso does great wheelies, right up till the rev limiter cuts it out. Other than increased wear, is there any serious damage doing wheelies on shaft driven bikes? I dont dump the clutch, I just roll off, then roll on the throttle and bring it up and let it rev to the limit, quite fun actually..... if it just wears out the bits sooner, i'm good as my bodlly bits are wearing out sooner rather than later, but if its catastrophic, well, I may limit my wheely activities.... Any input is appreciated.... I will of course continue to wheelie Pete's Scura for purely test purposes....he would want it this way
