So I put new indicators on the Bellagio - old had been in need of a change since I dropped it a couple years ago.. (yes I'm slack but gaffer tape works!)
I thought the two sets of 2 indicators were the same - they're both metal yet one set have only one wire coming from them. John at motociclo was referring to that set and said they'd need to be ground. I used these on the back. I put the ground wire from the original onto the screw of the indicator and it worked.. (its otherwise plastic around there - should I ground it elsewhere?) I had the wires around the wrong way to start.
The other couple - same brand same package same reference # exactly had two wires coming from it - I used these on the front and put the two original wires in and the indicator worked.. crimped etc.
All was fine? but then next day noticed the red warning (immobiliser) light on and the bottom of the dashboard is a picture of a lightbulb and and arrow to the the right? Doesn't matter what I have the dash set to - trip 1, trip 2 or menu - the picture remains.
I couldn't find any reference to that pic anywhere in the manual or workshop manual.
When I go into the Menu I have one ECU error: ECU 45 - which according to the workshop manual is:
"Remo. Error DC Start_up Gnd"
No idea - but suspect an earthing issue?
There is also a "dashboard error" - DSB 04.
I've tried a few times to "reset error" which according to the workshop manual only applies to the dashboard errors. I don't have a voodoo black box and if I did I wouldn't know what to do with it..
Bikes is otherwise running beautifully - I put a new single can on last week..
Any suggestions appreciated.
cheers Moz
