Eldorado fuel cap

Greetings from sunny/chilly OZ

Can anyone tell me if the Eldorado fuel caps have a vent ?
If not how does the tank vent ?

Also is this the right cap for ...

Yes, the cap does have vent holes - there should be two visible - one on the chrome top part (you may need to rotate the lever to see it) another on the underside and a third in a baffle plate in between those two.

That is the correct type of cap for that tank, whether it's the correct cap depends on it's diameter. They were made in a few different sizes, some fit, some don't.

Now to track down the correct cap, after measuring the filler neck.
