Elephant Rally 1970

Too cool (yes pun intended). That is the toughest group of riders I've ever seen. Being a part time sidecarist I especially enjoyed watching them. That is the only way I might ride in that kind of weather. But I doubt even that. I do admit to being drunk enough to throw gas on a campfire in the past like the guy on the film but still never so far gone as to ride in that kind of weather on purpose. At what temperature does the brain freeze ?
Thanks for sharing that though I feel a bit smaller now.

Thanks Holt, but this year that won't be possible for me. Besides, what kind of a bikers' association is that who gives directions that state to take the Autobahn until the last moment? ;)

My Dutch skating genes were tickled by the side-car dance on ice. That only could incite me to get one, one day... (on an MP3 it might even be more fun, though  )

No idea.Woudn't even consider the thought of participating.
If possible, I'd stay in my bed until mid-April.

I'd try it on a sidecar rig - but no way on a solo bike. For the cold, there is electric clothing and alcohol (after arrival). :)
