Hope everyone that could, has enjoyed some fantastic Fall riding these past three weeks, I know I sure have. I try to do a Nov camp-ride and missed the group in Topoco last week. I stayed up by the BRP last year, but it got COLD so I decided to stay low and ride high

Friday and Sturday I stayed in one of SC's fantastic state parks, Devil's Fork, Salem, SC. It's right off Rte 11 (Cherokee Scenic Pkwy) between 130 and 178 and sitting on Lake Jocassee. Great facilities and they offer primitive tenting all the way up to motorhome or cabin/chalet packages (boats too). There is "real" gas for sale at the store just prior to the park entrance and a new BBQ place across from the BP station where you turn in off of 11. Great people and I had a delicious supper and breakfast with them(coffee is on at 6 for those that like to get up and go).

The riding was fantastic, I enjoyed 108, 11, 130, 178, 28, 64, 107, BRP and many back roads (GA,SC,NC) Not quite 500 miles of motorcycle heaven even with the ice covered sections of the BRP (Hello Winter  )

Thanks for the "ride." I got to spend many days in those areas, and I have fond memories of every one. We hit snow on the southern end of the BRP in early June too though, so I can only imagine riding it this time year. Kudos.
