i went out for my first proper ride on the ntx yesterday and my impression is its a much better ride than my bmw gs 1200 i handles better in bends the engine sounds awesome the bike is fitted with a( grp carbon tip can) the brakes seem about the same.the seat is more comfortable and the screen is just about perfect for me. its a very heavy bike but when moving you cant tell just need to think a bit when stopping as im only 5f6 so its a bit on the tall side for me all in all i am very happy with the bike .hope to get lots of miles put on it

I picked my 2014 up last Tuesday and just turned 300 mile son it as I drove into my subdivision (In the rain!) yesterday afternoon. So far, I'm loving everything but the seat, and even it's not horrible. I've had worse (like on a '98 Guzzi V11EV). I have an Alaska Leathers sheepskin on the way, so that will hopefully help.

Odd that you mention the bike being heavy. I traded in a Harley Road King, which was 200 pounds heavier that the Stelvio, so I was thinking how light it seemed! It's all a matter of perspective.

l think it's the combination of the height and weight I'm only 5f6 but I love the bike that h d must have been a beast of a bike to push around

Yeah, I mostly moved it straddling it. I'm 6'2" tall so that makes a big difference.
