Hello,
Does anyone know part numbers or replacement part numbers for:
1. The fog light sockets
2. The fog light bulbs
3. The fog light assembly plastic connectors (male and female)
If you know a manufacturer that sells them, I'd appreciate the name too.

Thanks! -Pat

The globes will just be something generic, take the old one to a 'Wottalotacrap Auto' type shop and match it up. The holders will probably be available from any auto electrical supplier but I don't know for sure. The connectors? Dunno but you can cut and shut with anything.

Pete

Pat, the factory offers a "fog light connection kit" which I just happen to know where one is if you're interested. Otherwise, what Pete says holds true.

I guess I was asking about the wrong thing. In the front of each side panel, a small front corner piece is removable. Grey tape can be peeled off part of the corner pieces. It looks like a bulb socket can be inserted into the back the corner piece. What's the purpose of these pieces? Thanks.

Those are the EU turn signals. My buddy just got rid of his US signal/mirrors and installed new EU turn signal lenses. Much better - don't know why MG had to go with the mirror signals for the US market. The very same body panel signals are use on the new 8V Norge.

Thank you all for the replies! I took all the covers off in an effort to find a good place to tap into 12 volts for a GPS. It's really cool what you can get your hands on when the covers are off! When I see an empty relay socket, it makes me want to fill it and use it for something (I miss my electronic technician days). Now I'm thinking about fog lights and turn signals. Haven't decided the extent of the project. It's fairly minor stuff. Depends on what parts I locate (sockets and connectors). Thanks again guys.

There is a lead coiled and cable tied under the l hand panel with a Tom Tom socket. This goes live with ignition.

I read your other posts about the tomtom and garmin power leads. I've got a 2009 stelvio (not NTX). I'm not sure there is a coiled lead on mine. Thanks.

It is there. You may have to actually lift the front of the tank a bit to get to it. They hide it well.

Hmmm, thanks Nigel. Is the Tom-Tom connector white plastic?
No, that's the heated grip connector. The TomTom is black and IIRC it's waterproof. Check the various wiring diagrams before you cut.

As niglem said, the Tom Tom connector should be tied up on the left side some where above the cylincer.

Wayne, thanks for confirming it is on the '09. I think I found it (not quite under the tank). It's got a green and black connector, right? Man, it takes a heck of a long time to get the covers on and off of this bike. Kinda makes you appreciate the naked bikes. I got my turn signal lights changed from US to EU. Very cool. I bought "universal" sockets and 1157 bulbs from an auto parts store and used the existing lenses after removing the gray paint. And I'm wired for fog lights now. Just need some really cool (and cheap) fog lights (and some new mirrors that don't vibrate so much).

What are the connectors in the back for? The two unused ones near the rear cigarette lighter outlet? One is black rubber, the other is white plastic.

Thx.

Don't know the answer for it, but I wonder if that is the connector for the factory theft deterrent system. Talking with a mechanic friend who loves Italian cars, it sounds like the manufactures in Italy are notorious for adding the wiring, but just not the part.

I had to go look to see what you were referring to on mine and I see it.
