Got this 85 for quite reasonable money.The speedo shows 5200 miles but I doubt it's original mileage.it runs well and has the typical oil leaks.
This machine will become a cafe project and yesterday I stripped it down to an engine and rolling chassis.Saved all the parts removed and as in my past modified Brit bikes I shy away from butchering the frame.But this machine has floorboard with the brackets welded to the chrome plated removable lower frame tubes.Before I cut off the brackets,are they worth anything t? As in swapping them for as in of "regular" lower tubes

John,they are in the classified ........What year lower frame rails will fit my bike? All Tonti frame models? Minor bracket differences are not a big deal.
 
LSR yes....But also a cafe type for limited street use. LSR will require require engine work and different overall gearing and a rear wheel to accept W rated tires.
So I just do the chassis and see how the machine is on the road before ripping it all apart again....

All Tonti frame rails will fit. Differences between models are minor.
