Tuned and Synch'ed
Restoration project on V1000 G5. As I'm nearing first start in many several decades, I went to fill brake fluid (previously rebuilt calipers and blew out lines). Front master cylinder piston was stuck in its bore (in depressed position). It took a considerable amount of force to knock the piston out with a drift. Here's pics of piston and bore:
I've read that folks often have not been content with the rebuild kits. Given the condition of bore, I'm not sure if it's worth trying to fix. Is there a good way to "hone" the bore a bit? Thoughts?
Cheers,
Frey
