So I wish to replace my internal fuel filter. Even though this is used in Ducati's, MV's, Triumphs and BMW's, I cannot find a cross reference on the net.

Swapping tanks/pumps etc on my Bellagio to a V7 chromed tank. Had to cut the whole base out and remanufacture to keep my air box and ECU in standard locations. Real prick to get the pump out of Bella's tank.

Considering fitting the filter externally ............................................ any input welcome.
Especially known part # of major brand filters.

Leave it internally Wayne - enough shit hanging out in the air already. Others may know of the correct type (Todd?) - you could also ask on some of the other forums, too...

Thanks Todd, if I can't get one locally today I'll order that here.

Same Mahle fuel filter is used on BMW K75/K100/K1100 bikes but branded BMW jacks the price through the roof. Here is the aftermarket cross-reference table for the BMW:
Deutsch "FF424"
Fram G3802 (Ford Mustang 4.6L V6)
Napa Gold 3032
Triumph T1240850
AC GF61
BMW 16 14 325 859
Fleetguard FF149
Knecht Mahle KL145
Motorcraft FG-2
Perolator F20011
Wix 33032

People rave about the NAPA Gold 3032. Very good filter for little money.

Good information to have. Thanks. I plan on pulling the filter out of my 1400 this winter to see if it is still the half plastic model. If it is I will be replacing it and I normally like NAPA.
