My '08 CalVin was popping badly on deceleration, so loud that it sounded like a shotgun blast and was getting embarrassing. (I have LaFranconi open mufflers). Took it to my local tech who mostly got rid or the loud blasts. I also had a problem of a flat spot/hesitation upon roll-on, usually between 2.5-4K rpms which he said he could not adjust the fueling or spark between those rpms.
My question, what's the best way to deal with this? Is this where a Power Commander-type unit comes in?
I can live with it as is, but eventually I'd like to smooth it out in the long run.
Thanks.
