Hi , yesterday I traded my two 20 y/o Aprilias (sad to see them go) for a V85TT Travel.
First short ride yesterday , 40km, on way home was fab.
Very different to the Aprilias , lumpy and torque engine is fun.
The bike reminds me of my CX500 I had in UK in the early 80s - a fancy CX 500 seems to fit quite well.
Started riding at 16 with a knackered Puch M50 Sport. A great little bike/moped. followed by:
Honda CG 125
Honda cab 250 Super Dream
Honda CX 500
Yamaha XJR 1300
Aprilia RST 1000 Futura
Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord

Nice to have some modern tech and hopefully will be more confidence inspiring than the old Aprilias (not that they ever let me down).

Favourite to date must be the CX500 with strong engine and shaft drive . Did many trips Dundee to Plymouth and never missed a beat.

Looking forward to many years of solid riding with the Guzzi
