G11-003 map.

Excellent... I plan on having the new map installed in a couple of weeks (weather crap here in SoCal for the next week or so), scooterbob has graciously offered to install the new map for me (which i fully intend to take him up on)... I'll be looking for your comments on using the Fat Duc...Thanks, Mark....

Mark, weather here finally broke, been running the fat duc at almost richest setting, but sets a code on dash when on interstate at cruising speeds, steady 4 to 5thousand rpm.Today I reset code and backed fat duc off to what should be around 13.5 ran very well especially low end 1st and 2nd to about 8000rpm.Came back set it just a hair richer still no code runs great and cranks and idles super.Keep in mind the fat duc may have to be reset depending on outside air temp the temp sensor will somtimes set a code when the weather is hot.By the way most of the poping is gone and the bike is very user friendly at lower parking lot speeds.Hope this is of some use to you I told Pete Roper I would post results of new G-11 03 map
hope he sees this.

Thanks Mell, just got to get with scooterbob now and have the map installed......

Hi

These alternative maps are news to me. I have a termi can on G11 and dealer confirmed that the bike had been remapped to suit. Is this the map that you guys are talking about? How can I find out more about what map is currently installed?

Is there an easy way to get a little more performance out of the G11 or would I need to trade up to G12?

E

When you plug in Axone or Navigator, or I believe, the VDSTS software it will tell you what map you currently have installed.

The latest map for the 1100 has an 003 Sufix.

To the best of my knowledge there are no *specific* suggestions as to what map to use with any given pipe. The upgrades are simply designed to improve the overall fuelling with the stock pipe OR the 'Guzzi Approved' Termi slip on.

As far as performance improvements are concerned the only one that is going to make a HUGE difference is going to be the PCV-Autotune package that Todd sells but riding enjoyment will be enhanced by the installation of the 003 map and many people have found that using a 'Fat-Duc' O2 sensor fooler helps greatly with driveability in the closed loop area of the map. Todd has reservations about its use but I've had one on my bike, a 1200, for well over 10,000Km now with no ill effects and a great improvement in the driveability.

Having checked the map ID on my 06 1100 to see what map has been installed, I found (using VDSTS) 2230GS08. Any ideas what this is ? Cheers.

Just got the 003 map installed today, i finally found time.... Can't really comment on wether it's better or not yet, freeway all the way home. I did play a little with the heavy decel, not a pop, not even where i would normally expect it. I am running a Fat duc and stepper motor on/off, so my popping was at a minimum. But i'm led to believe there's been a revision to the 003 map, Bobby commented that he was downloading the revision last night. Just thought i'd let you guy's know....

Pardon my ignorance, but just how does one get the map and get it installed?

Here in NJ USA I have little/no dealer support and have been winging it with good success for 3 years. I have the GT-RX but am otherwise stock.

Anyone nearby that has the capability or suggestions?

I would think that Ferraci in Philly could proly do it, is it something that is generally known and available?

Thanks
Ed

Hey Ed...

Not sure what map Ferracci loaded into my Griso? Runs good but I was thinking.... If you want to pay a visit to Ferracci I'd be happy to ride over with you... I need tires anyway on the Griso... I would be interested in knowing what map was installed...
