  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. My pal and I have '06 G11s registered here in the UK within a few weeks of each other. Both with around 9 - 10k miles on the clock. We're about the same weight and the only difference apart from his being black and mine yellow, is that I'm running a Termi with no db killer, he's on stock.

On our occasional forays into mainland Europe we run an occasional roll on alongside each other, from a round 40/50 mph in second. All the way up to somewhere around 120 mph in top on occasions. The bikes are pretty even.

Two questions. To have the best chance of putting one over on him:

- At what rpm do I want to hook the next gear?
- At what point precisely does the rev limiter kicking in?

I'm currently watching closely and shifting just shy of 8k. If you hit the limiter it's like opening the chute - he's just gone.

You don't want to go to red line because power drops off before that.
According to the dynomometer for this road test, peak horsepower occurs around 7K rpm.
That's where you want to shift.
