Gday one and all. I would like to try a Breva style exhaust (matched length headers,2/1 collecter Ypiece not a "box")on my 06 1100 Griso, which for reasons unbeknown to me will not let me balance the T/B's. I have not pulled his heads off yet,to inspect things but have tried a gazillion things, all to no avail. He starts, idles and runs ok. I can hear you say "Just ride it and stop pissin about" ,but.....
My questions are - how would the radiant heat from the oil cooler,if moved to the same spot as a Breva, affect the ECU?
-Will the oil pump cope with the extra "head" with the cooler in this spot.
Thanks.

Yes, of course it will. The B11 and G11 engines are identical.

Pete

(PS. Charlie. I still think you should sell it to someone less of a perfectionist. I can still do you a killer deal on an 8V  )

Pete ,while a 8v sounds attractive, Ive been told that if I buy another bike I will be divorced!! Apart from that its a battle to hang on to my licence as it is. 4 points and $361 a fortnight ago on the Buckets Way,although had Mr Plod been up round Walcha an hour earlier it would have been straight to "THe Big House"

If its any consolation I picked up a three pointer and $211 last week in the bloody VAN! THat should of been a four pointer but I think I got a three because I'm a poor old crock with a stick!

Pete

How many points are you allowed to accumulate down there before you have to go in for the "INTERVIEW" ?? Inquiring minds want to know.
Peter

Moat states and territories its 12, in NSW it is 13, (An extra point was added because so many people were loosing their licences! It was an admission that the whole thing is a revenue raising scam!) Up to 10Km over loose 1 point and about $130, (I think?). 10-20 over and its 3 points and $211. 30 Over and its 4 and $360. Anything over that and its either six points or instant licence loss plus a much larger fine. I don't pay much attention to the points system or the fines, it's all bollocks. If I'm pulled by a copper I just suck it up. If its a camera fine throufgh the post I'll fight it every time.

Once you have accrued the full 12 or 13 points they take yer licence off you for six months. NSW also has the option of you keep your licence but if you get nabbed for anything in the next year you go off for 12 months.
