A lot of new and older Guzzi's are running this in the transmission and rear end, including my Norge and V7C, one bottle does both.

Eliminates the need for the addition moly in the rear ends of the older Guzzi's

I just did my fluid changes and went with redline in the motor but opted for royal purple max gear for the tranny and carc. seems to be better than the gear oil that came out.

I can't speak for the Royal Purple, but what he means I am sure as with RedLine , better shifting, cooler running and quieter operation, last's longer then the Agip before it wears out and wear out they all do. There are many short track stock car drivers here who will tell they use to drain the transmissions and rear ends every 2-3 races and usually suffered a rear end failure or two every season. Many who switched don't bother draining them out for the whole season now.

As I understand it, CARC and gearbox benefit from different oil formulations. The gearbox oil should have friction modifying additives to improve action of the syncronizers.

There in there, Like we have been trying to say, Redline Shockproof heavy duty gear oil for both and then find some thing else to fret about !

What synchronizers? Guzzi haven't got round to that yet.
