Hi Guys, today out riding the beast when gear changing particularly up through the gears and on occasions down shifting the gears were not engaging as if the linkage was not even connected to the gearbox, then after a few more attempts at selecting the gear it would work as normal and then start missing again. When I returned home I checked the gear selection on the side stand and I can hear a spinning noise from within the gear box at the selector, any ideas. Peter

The spinning noice can be normal as it is a constant mesh gear box. Make sure you let the shift lever fully come back to its resting position before the next shift. If u don't it will not engage the next gear. Next time u are out move you foot completely off and then shift. May just be your foot position. New boots?

If it still will not shift them there may be something else at play.

Thanks for the advice, it could be the new boots, Peter
