Luciano Marabese Design (founded in 1997) was responsible for the Guzzi line consisting of the V11, V10 Centauro, Breva 750 & 1100, Griso and Norge.
On Monday evening October 24th, at the age of 68, the Italian designer passed on. Luciano was one of the most important persons in the area of vehicle design in Italy.
Marabese was born in Legnano and in his youth showed a particular passion for motorcycles. He started working as a graphic artist, but at the end of the '70s had presented a bike that was aimed at children, which made a great impression on the Milan market where he then began the H.R.D. company; Manufacturing small motorcycles models, and later extended to larger models.
At the end of the 90s, the Marabese became involved with a project that grew into a major category of today modern multi-wheel scooters. Mainly focused on development of the Piaggio MP3 and the Tetrarodo Quadro.
The designer's funeral will be held Thursday Oct 27th in Milan.
