Bill Kerlow, known locally as GuzziBill has passed away. I don't know the details, but it was not a riding accident. He was way too young for this to happen - only 54.

Services will be May 27, 2011 - 9:00 a.m. - San Fernando Mission Rey -- 15151 San Fernando Mission Blvd., Mission Hills, CA 91345-1109 - (818) 361-0186. Interment will follow directly after at 11160 Stranwood Ave Mission Hills CA 91345 (San Fernando Mission Cemetery).

Ugh. Thanks for posting John.
I have a smile every time I think of him, even now. The memories of him and his bikes are very good ones. His Norton & Eldo were simply amazing (and show winners). We often joked about buying each others bikes should they ever go up for sale. I'll try to dig up some pics to post.

GodSpeed Bill.

Here's a pic of Bill (second from left with black t-shirt) at one of the first Ramona rallies:

Here's a pic from a ride we went on that rally weekend (Bill was on a quest for apple pie in and around Julian). That's Bill's Eldo:

Wow, bummer, & way too young as prev said. Anybody find out what happened to him? I always felt his very beautiful custom Norton Commando was one of the very finest around.

Although I didn't ask his widow, the talk from the Brit Iron Rebels was that he died of complications from Hepatitis - liver failure. That's the best information I have.

Next March, some of his ashes will be shot from his favorite canon. Again, not sure where this will happen (Bishop? Lone Pine?) but will let the group know when I do.
