Valves adjusted, new plugs and wired, high and low speed balance are good.
Metal fuel filter, submersible hoses used.
20ah battery...
Stepper motor works correctly, cleaned and new hoses.
Replaced phase sensor oring to fix a leak.

Bike will start And runs with throttle but dies when rpms drop.
Starts popping and will stall.

Could a fuel pump cause this?

I doubt very much if its the fuel pump, there was a bulletin a few years ago about the throttle bodies getting gummed up. My Breva 1100 would die when coming to a stop of a motorway, its caused by oil mist from the air box. I cleaned my throttle bodies and also re routed the breather pipe from the engine to the air box into a separate bottle. Ive had no issues in 100,000Kms. Clean them in situ as you dont want to disturb any linkages. I posted the note on here years ago.

Your Griso is ~16 years old. If you have fully removed, cleaned and inspected your throttle bodies to ensure 100% operation (no worn butterfly shafts, etc), then the next major step is having the fuel injectors professionally cleaned and tested. Always try a search. This topic has been talked about many many times here. Do post if you resolve it.

In case anyone cares...
My timing sensor was removed to fix a leak and was reassembled as it was.

That's when my problems started.
Removed the thinnest of the 3 shims used on the sensor.

Problem GONE!

Starts easy. stepper motor works, no stalls on 30 min ride.
Idles perfect.

My old B1100 took to doing what you described.
New sensor (old was swollen) plus an adjustment to the air gap sorted it out.
There seems to be contradictory information as to what the gap should be, depending on which manual you read.
