My '07 Griso 1100 will not start after a big rain. It was running ok. It turns over ok, but seems to be either not getting spark or fuel. Any adavice would be appreciated.

What have you tried, bud? First call would be to take a plug out, fit it back into the ht socket & see if you get sparks when you hold it against the head & turn the motor over. If it's all as wet as it is here in UK, wear gloves against shock!
You're sure you haven't pushed the kill switch/got crud in the sidestand switch?

i don't know if starting fluid is harmful to these engines, but spraying a small amount of starting fluid and trying to crank it, and if it bumps over and tries to catch.. sounds like a fueling issue.. if it just cranks and nothing sounds different.. pull a plug and ground it to the head as previously mentioned.

I'd be wary of what's here called cold starting fluid -someone warned me of a cracked cylinder head!
I would check for water in the fuel, but first want to know whether the fuel's getting a spark.

If it has no spark it is most likely starter cut out due to the sidestand switch or the neutral switch. If it has spark open the tank and see if you can see fuel sloshing around when you turn the ignition on and the pump cycles. If you can it could well be that the rain is irrelevant and its simply blown off its fuel hose.
