Hello,

Does anyone use a Guzzi Griso nose fairing (flyscreen)? I'm not looking for a full screen. I just want something to cut down the wind without creating an unstable buffering.

I am not sure to which screen you refer, as there a number of options, and most take patience and (too much) money even if you find them.

That said, I have been very happy with the OEM solution in the pic, below. Search this forum and you will see other approaches.

Best wishes in finding what works for you.

Bill

Kevin,
I have the factory flyscreen on mine which works really well for me but I'm not 6 foot tall.
It just takes some of the wind pressure off and has proven quite effective even when touring.
Probably not the best choice though if you plan to ride in gale force winds or monsoonal rain.
I guess that would be something you would avoid anyway.

I started with the Guzzi fly screen when I bought my Griso. I then moved to the larger Guzzi screen that Bill Hagen posted on his red beauty. I'm very pleased with the larger oem screen. I'm about 5'10' with a 31' inseam if that helps.

All the best,

Mark

Thank you for the information. I'm considering the Guzzi flyscreen below (I'm 6'1). My primary use will be every day ridding and will consider the larger for long trips or use if the short screen is just a mess because of my height.

Few questions:
1) Did you purchase the screen online, suggest a website?
2) I'm also looking for a tail/seat bag. Bill I like your saddle bags. Are they Guzzi?

Re bags, I have the Hepco & Becker "C-Bow" system. Chicago Mark and others have the Guzzi OEM bags. Some have gone even other ways. I know of no one who is unhappy with their choice, so all options are probably fine ... or we are all way to smug.

Have to get out the door, but if you search here under luggage, you'll find LOTS of info and pix. "C-Bow" won't work for some @#$%^& reason, but plain "bow" will on the H&B stuff I have. Several separate threads on it.

Best,

Bill
