I'm really just interested in points-of-view about the SE spoked wheels on the Griso Tenni and Black Devil (and, I guess, Stelvio). Both Griso models are out of my price range - even used - so I'm in no danger of buying one, but I'm still curious about them. If I WERE in the market, as much as I like the paint-treatment of both SE models, I think the spokes would dissuade me from buying...

Those who do own the models with these wheels: are you concerned over what happens when the o-rings sealing the spokes inevitably age and crack? Just planning to return to running tubes if/when it occurs? I think they are gorgeous on the Griso. Just can't seem to get my head around how they could possibly have any longevity.

Thoughts?

Uumm, I have them in my griso se done 18000 ks in 12 months via dirt, back roads , heavy rain, track day...
Don't leak yet, spokes still tight,in great nick overall...
End of the day I like em and later on if they leak il get em fixed...

Same here If they start to leak I'll deal with it then , either repair or tubed.

The spokes will loosen in time, and develop a small annoying leak (a few lbs. over-night). That is the sign to have them inspected. The dealer will tell you no parts are available, and they have to be replaced... but I've used just one (only in the U.S.) Alpina trained/authorized repair persons here in SoCal. 17" wheels are easy for parts, but the 18 & 19" wheels are problematic if you say break a spoke, as Alpina and Guzzi apparently have an agreement to not release parts. I have tried. O-rings are easy replacement, but there are specific techniques and torque figures for this system.

I wouldn't sweat it.. otherwise, see; https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/208/9997.html
