Hello;

Recently webbikeworld ( www.webbikeworld.com ) featured an article on the Fat Duc O2 Oxygen Sensor Manipulator. Seems it can fool the Manelli ECU ... Some of the Ducs mentioned use the same ECU as the Griso. This item removes the harsh throttle on / throttle off that the DUCs experience. I wonder if it will work for the Griso?

Comments?????

Hell Yes there is a comment, now how do we find out if it will work on a BREVA, NORGE and GRISO et al?

Hello Todd ! is there anything to this for us Guzzi Guys ?

Generally speaking, I'd have to say I would stay away from it personally, but for $80 and if you have plenty of warranty left, it's up to you. ;)
The PCII was replaced by the PCIII because of similar technology (fooling the ECU).

I should have some fairly large news from Dynojet here any day regarding the all-new Power Commander V (5). Back in July, they were in Italy testing their newest technology for the 5AM ECU including Piaggio scooters(!). They are telling me that they plan on having the PCV ready for release for HDs very soon, and most all other models by the end of the year. Cross your fingers for me, and I'd say be a little more patient... you've waited this long. :pinch:

A few weeks ago I was contacted by a bloke asking me about power commanders for his Griso. I told him that there was nothing available. He went off and talked to someone else who installed one that was meant for a 1098 Ducati and claims that it has miraculously improved things and made the bike run like a top.

Talking to several other people who are much cleverer than me I'm still getting the message that with the 5AM if you try to use this sort of approach it doesn't work very well if at all but my experience of setting up PC's is non existent.

Pete
