GTM V100 Axle Pocket-Socket

Put mine to use today. As already mentioned, it's a little snug on the 30mm side, so it helps to use a T25 Torx to remove that bolt holding the fender. I just put a rag behind there to give a little clearance to prevent rubbing the fender with the tool. 20230821 101841

Went with Metzeler Roadtec 01s in the HWM version.

Added the Pyramid fender extender while I was there.

The passenger peg bracket has to swung out of the way in order to pull the the exhaust can off.

Test ride once it cools down a bit.

It was brought to my attention that the socket tool will fit perfectly in the $9 bag shown below, for those wanting to carry it without damage. Purchase here; getmccuff.com/products/motobag

Got mine this week, also fits in the pouch the tire inflator cartridges come in. Glad we have someone supporting us its only right to buy from Todd, have to put your money where your mouth is sometime.

OK, apparently I didn't quite get it right. When I pulled the rear wheel to have a puncture repaired. I never swung the passenger peg out of the way. I pulled the muffler with only two bolts. One for the clamp to the exhaust pipe and the bolt that attaches it to the passenger peg. I also pulled the rear caliper and left the back disk on the wheel. Kind of looks like I didn't have to do that and could have left the rear caliper attached. What I did worked, what I want to make sure works is only enough to get the job done. (Admittedly pulling the rear wheel from my R1100RT with only removing a pannier and four bolts is easier than any other vehicle I've ever owned.)

I'm officially sold out of my V100 pocket socket for this year. If you are interested in one, ping us direct email; Sales @GTMotoCycles.com (not MotoRcycles). If I get another ten-ish pre-paid orders, I'll do another run.

I've opened up PRE-ORDERING for these once again. Should have them in hand to ship early January. I will again repeat, I will ONLY make those on paid order, and POSSIBLY a few extras. Do not wait until then if you want one. Thanks in advance, and Happy Holidays to all those here.

Shipping out soon. Grab one while they last. Next run will be in April or May at the earliest. Thanks for the handful few that grabbed one.
