I picked up my G12 tonight from Rose Farm Classics after Jim did the initial service. The Griso has run like a champion from mile one and of course still does. Jim also installed the bobbins that come with the Guzzi Griso workstand. I put the big G on the stand when I got home and it works like a champ. Just like the one I had for my beloved Centauro a few years ago. The Guzzi stand is very well made and will make cleaning, maintenance, storage and the like much easier.

The stand is readily available from your local dealer, here's a link to it on the Guzzi site: http://motoguzzi-us.com/en_US/accessori ... aspx?id=67

    All the best,

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

    I have a Becker-Technik stand.
Attached at the bobbins, it works like a commen center stand.
    Good and easy.
A while ago there was an other topic about bike stands.
    This one: https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/188/5714.html
I described my stand and the modifications I made on it.

    Regards.

Satisfied Backer-Technik stand user here too.

It is compact and easy to use like a normal center stand once mounted.

drat, they won't sell me one here in the U.S. Due to our hyperactive legal system. Any ideas on how to circumvent the safety police?

He wouldn't sell it to me directly in Canada either, so I had mine shipped to a relative in Italy, then I picked it up when I was over for a visit at Xmas.

I think the only way would be to either pick it up in Europe like I did, or have someone in Europe forward it on to you. That will add to the cost of shipping, and you probably won't get the VAT back, plus you may pay US customs. I avoided a lot of that by carrying it back since I was going over anyway.

Did run into problems with the freight company taking two attempts to deliver it, and returning it to Becker in the meantime, but Becker was very good at working it from their end (and it really had nothing to do with them - their service was excellent).

I asked Mr. Becker if any dealers carried it and he said Stein-Dinse did soooo...

Internet order placed, we will see.

What is the part number for the Griso stand (Stein Dinse)? I can't seem to locate it on the website.

That totally shifts the cost proposition. :-( Is the homeland though, never been..
They have a V7 III version, or at least I thought it was III. Instruction show part number 500512112.
I have one. But if I'm being honest haven't had the guts to use it yet. Now that I read them they show coverage through VII...but is the frame different or EVAP?
