 Really quite disappointed, swung down to visit the Motorcycle Show and Piaggio/Guzzi didn’t make the effort to set up a stand!!! They only display was the V7 Racer, that I understand, is impossible to get a hold of!! Whats the point… get the public fired up about a model that they can’t deliver,… sometimes I wonder about these guys.
How much effort does it really take to hang up a couple of signs, throw an Italian colored flag rug down and sprinkle a couple of both types of models out there. Starting to wonder if they are gonna survive.

Kinda why I don't do shows anymore. Nothing in it for me and no real show discounts on good gear. Not worth the trip, entry fee to buy stuff, and overpriced hotdogs.

Yes, I don't know why Piaggo doesn't seem to want to do shows or even drive days. Other manufactures seem to have no problem with it.

The only Guzzi I saw at Long Beach yesterday was in the Specials section, where a V7 Racer was on display. The show gets more anemic every year, and each year as I'm leaving I say to myself, "No more of these for me". And yet, I keep going.

No Guzzis at the Toronto Motorcycle Show last week either. There was a large Ducati display and even MV Agusta was present and accounted for with a few bikes. At least some Italian manufacturers seem to have a handle on how to market their products.

Moto Guzzi, I love ya, but you don't make it easy!

Piaggo WAS at the Toronto show last weekend, with scooters, Aprilias and Guzzis. At least they were there on Friday - can't speak for Saturday & Sunday.

There was a V7 cafe racer (looking fantastic in red and black, best looking cafe racer at the show) and a green Griso. The folks from Corsa Meccanica were there showing them off.

The prices were down a lot from the last year, several thousand dollars per bike. They said it's because the CAD / Euro exchange rate moved in our favour.

All in all, quite impressive!

Really? I don't know how I missed the Piaggio display. I was there on Saturday and I thought I saw the whole Enchilada. I wish I had found them!
