I don't know why in this day and age a Griso can't run on a 50/50 fuel/water mix.
Looks like the o-ring seals on the fuel cap assembly deteriorated from this hot Florida sun.
Bike had sat covered for almost a month but the cover was old and it rained every day.
When I went to start it she fired off on one cylinder then died.
I thought something electrical got wet so first thing was to check plugs & wires.
Had good spark & wires weren't arcing so decided to pull tank & dry all electrical connections.
I lifted the tank up & tilted it to get to the connections below & fuel began pouring out of the cap.
Got the tank off & siphoned the fuel into some large glass jars & the vino was watered down by almost half.
Did a flush & fill with fresh fuel, put some heavy grease around the cap o-rings until I can replace them & ran a little over two hundred miles on a test run.
She is running better now than it has in a long time so I think the tank has been getting water in it for awhile.
